Before vacation, we joined our kinderbuddies for a special project: designing and building snow boys & girls that were the same size as our Kindergarten buddies! Pairs began with a plan which included a sketch of the snowbuddy and a list of all the materials required to build it. The next week, the building was underway! When all the snow boys & girls were created, they were hung on the walls of the school in hopes that snow would soon arrive!
After vacation, we gathered together again and wrote stories for our snowbuddies inspired by the book Snowmen at Night by Caralyn Buehner. Those stories are now in our kinderbuddy book: Snowbuddies on Vacation. Check it out!
